yes... another new kitten!

okay so remember misty and tigerlily? we rescued them from a friend's field... where someone dumped them at 4 weeks of age? well... their sister... we found a home for... but now has been returned. so... we are keeping her because i'm insane!

i don't need another kitten but this kitten needs a permanent home... she's already been in 4 other homes... this is her fifth! so... no more i say!!! :taz: enough is enough.

(first home: birth home - second home a shed - third home: temporary housing to litter train and socialize her - fourth home: for almost two months and now fifth home: here)

this poor little kitten doesn't know what's going on :(

so... we've named her Jayden and she's staying here! forever!!!

her face is longer than tigerlily's and she has more white on her chin and her eyes are jade green (just didn't show up in the pic like that).

You are crazy, but that has nothing to do with taking in another kitty. ;) I'm glad she's found a good home though. She's definitely a pretty girl. How's Jayden settling in? Misty and Tigerlily taking to her? It sure looks like your daughter is adjusting to having all those cute kitties very well.

tigerlily is being a *insert female dog reference here* and so is misty. they are hissing and being horrid to her. in return, jayden is hissing at them LOL

tigerlily thinks she's royalty! trust me... skittish royalty, but definitely 'above the rest' LOL

misty is the cuddley, i love everyone kitten.

jayden ... well i have no idea at this point. she's so nervous and unsure about where the heck she is right now.

when the girls went for their shots yesterday with their brothers (johnny and jimmy) who live down the street... they all shared a kennel and were loving each other. so i find it odd that the girls are being so mean to their sister. hmm...

but... at this moment all three kittens are up in the christmas tree... and since it's still standing... and isn't on the floor sideways... i take it as progress :P

They were probably nice to their brothers because it was on neutral territory, but Jayden is on their turf which I'm sure they'll take a bit to adjust to. Very pretty kitties! Too bad I'm allergic, I'd love a cat.... Of yours there I'd have to vote Tigerlily for my favorite!

You have my complete understanding and sympathy. We adopted a feral litter of 3 lovely little ladies, who are now 4 months old, and I don't think my house will ever be the same!!!!

We totally skipped the tree this year, I knew it would not manage to stay upright for longer than 10 minutes at a shot. That makes 5 cats total for us. :eek:

I agree with Jason. I'm sure it's because they were on neutral territory. (oh and he gets bonus points for liking Tigerlily best! :giggle: )

Didn't you know that it all came with the name, Aleesha? We Tigerlily's are a handful. ;) We like to keep you on your toes. Maybe try chocolate, it works with me. (just kidding!!!)

Give them some time to work out the social ladder, and hopefully they'll all settle in well.

Those kittens are soo cute im jealous :P I have an older cat (17 years old) that does not get along with other cats too well. No kittens for me while he is still around.


But thats okay he is a super awesome cat, So i dont mind. :)
