expressing my love for my rack
Today was the first FULL cleaning day for my 4 tub 1960 rack. I have been spot cleaning since day one but today I went out to clean EVERYTHING. It used to take me a good hour to 2 hours cleaning tanks, but today all four were done in a matter of 25 minutes! That was dumping aspen, bringing it out for a good scrub, drying and putting it all back with newspaper. I decided to go with newspaper over the aspen for the rack to keep temps more consistent. Sometimes a snake would push aspen over the hot spot and it would be cooler than the hot spot in tub 2 where the snake pushed aspen out of the way. Each tub got a 2 sheet depth of newspaper and everyone is all happy! I also decided to move my het albino female problem feeder to a tub and out of her custom enclosure and hopefully she will be back eating soon!
