    Hamster Dance
Will my ball be in a constant state of 'hunt' with a new hamster coming into the house??

Obviously I won't be holding them at the same time, but the little guy may be rolling around in a ball in the snakes location (livingroom). I'll be washing my hands after playing with either of course, but how acute are snakes' sense of smell? Will he likely smell him in another room and be ready to attack my water-chaging hand on a daily basis?

We have small warm blooded pets. It won't affect your snake unless the cage is right next where the activity will catch his eye. Then he may strike at the side of the tank. We never have a problem as long as our hands don't smell like the hamster ,mouse or other pet.

I must be dating myself here, the first thing I thought off was the old hamster dance website upon reading the title of this thread.

    Dating yourself must be lonely...

I thought of the same thing though.

yesterday i went to the garage, and during the winter, rats like to sneak into our garage, and i guess the scent caught on me somehow, and i took out one of my snakes and he seemed to be in his hunt mode, was slithering around sticking his tongue out
