    Caught on Tape
My ball seemed to have got herself stuck to to a peice of packaging tape, and I pulled the tape off as gently as I could, and I noticed some of her skin came off on the tape. Is she going to be okay?

When you say "some of the skin" does that mean that it's completely ripped off in some places? If so, you need to keep it clean and make sure it doesn't get infected.

those are scales and it sounds like your snake will be just fine. ;) but a pic would certainly help.

Yes, scales! Good word. She is under her hide because she just ate, but I will try and take pictures tomorrow.

How did she get the packing tape on her? Is it in her enclosure to hold something together or on the sides somewhere?

    Re: Caught on Tape
I take her out and put her in a tub to feed her. I bought the tub from Target. I used tape to help secure the lid while she ate. I didn't realize that the lid they sold me slides around when it's snapped on the tub. She was trying to crawl out through the side where the lid slides, and got stuck to the tape. I went and got a new feeding tub with a good lid so this doesn't happen again. That, I won't be using tape to secure the lid. (advice I was told by a pet store) I knew better than to listen to them... :colbert:
