    its for a tarantula but i dont the measurements of a 10 gallon tank for it .accordingto a caresheet it needs a 10 gallon tank. :sabduel: :sabduel: :carrot: :carrot: :sabduel: :taz: :confused:

    A normal 10 gal tank is 20"w x 10"d x 12"h. You might want to check out the Critter Cages at your local petco.

    I would never by an animal from Petco, but they generally have good prices on other "stuff".

    A 10 gallon tank is pretty big for all but the largest tarantulas and some of the arboreals. What kind of tarantula are you looking to house? Is it the curlyhair you asked about in the other thread? You can get away with housing an adult in a tank that size, but you will want the substrate to be around 5 or 6 inches deep to keep the tarantula from falling and hurting itself if it decides to climb.

    and... how big is it? small slings (spiderlings = babies) need a smaller enclosure ;)

    Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. There are some caresheets out there that don't specify different requirements for slings and juvies.
