I have used the hovabators(still air no fan) 2yrs in a row and zero problems.Once you get your temps set all you have to add is a little water in the bottom(tray) and i add a little to the vermiculite the eggs are setting in(inside containers with lid).I use the hovabators for my corn snake eggs also.I will use them again this season.

Well some say the fans are needed in the larger incubators.Since the hovabators are small you really dont have room for a fan.Now they do sell a larger hovabator that has the fan but i see it as a waste of the extra costs.Since i check on the vermiculite and add water as needed a couple times a week thats the air exchange.

I used a hovabator still air last year, it worked very well after you get the temps spot on. This year the hova will be used for milks and ive built a big ole fridge bator for the balls (pythons).

Good luck with whatever you choose to use!!!!!!
