so....i looked over at them today, and realized what they are actually doing. THey empty their food bowl, yes, they just take the food and put it all on the floor. I don't use a bowl (i just call it that for lack of a more technical term), i use one of the dispenser things that you attach to the tank.
Oh well....i guess rats are picky too
