    Is this normal?
Cyclone my bp is now in the sloughing(sp?) stage of shedding. Its just coming off in sections. Is this normal? What can I do to help this process? Thanks!

A shed coming off in sections is most likely from low humidity. Next time you see him go blue, bump up the humidity to 70%-80% or provide him with a humid hide. If he doesn't get all the pieces off during this shed, you can soak him for about 20 mins in warm water (not too deep) and you will be able to peel the rest off easily. Otherwise you can wet and wring out a pillowcase, put him in it and tie the end up and place it in his enclosure (not over the heat) for an hour or so. Same end result, you'll be able to peel the loose shed right off. Good luck!

occasionally ours do that too..sometimes they rip the skin part way down...so thats why they do it....as long as youve raised the humidity its ok

Mist the cage and the snake dailey until it's all off. Next time when it's blue start misting before the shed so when it comes time it'll be nice and clean and all in one piece. Just my 2 cc's

I wouldnt mist the snake to much. Mist the cage more often, And if needed Give him alittle soaking in his tub. Misting the snake causes a lot of stress. JMO.

I like to avoid misting the actual snake, and just mist the inside of the cage; misting directly makes them recoil and it has to be stressful. I like to humidify the whole cage for shed times; not soaking it per se, but just moistening the newspaper substrate, the tub walls, etc.
If your snake has already started shedding but pieces remain, a nice warm soak, with some help from you, should get it off. If it remains on the eyes, this is bad.. how are the eyes?
