    It finally happened to me!!
I came home last night and one of my baby balls escaped! I looked everywhere and couldn't find him. Then I decided to check in the back of my big bp tubs, and sure enough there he was!! Oh and by the way, his tub is on one of my shelves about six feet off the ground. He must have fallen off or something! Are Ball pythons pretty tough??? I checked him out for any injuries, but he seemed fine? Should I get an x-ray to check for internal broken bones or anything like that? I hope he is going to be ok..

Feel along his sides, back, and belly for anything that feels irregular. If something is broken then the snake will most assuredly be in some pain so if you do find something they will let you know. It never hurts to take them to the vet just to be safe. He probably just found a way to climb down the shelf and didn't fall at all but check him just to be sure.

I felt along his spine and made sure he could slither fine.... But you are right, a vet check can't do any bad, except empty my wallet:P lol
