    Humidity in a shoebox rack?
    So I just got my shoe box rack built and all the stuff comming from ReptileBasics. Heres the question how do you messure RH in that small of a tub?

    Stick the hygrometer inside one of the boxes? :O

    No what I was meaning is the big Accu -Rite like we use in the bigger tubs and viv's or just get a little flukers one ?

    You mean accuwrongs? LOL..... I challenge you or anyone else to to buy 5 accurites and put them in the excat same location...you will get 5 different temps, and 5 different humidity percentages... I've had some that show a difference of 6-7 degrees and 25% rh while in the exact same location. The ESU's are even worse, having a varience of up to 9 degrees...if you want a truly accurate hygrometer, go to a growers supply store and get a good one. Though I'll warn you, it'll might cost more than you care to spend, I believe it's worth it ;)

    It has a probe for the humidity that lets you keep the unit out of the box and next to you thermostat.. :carrot:
