    Im tryin to breed Hera and Zeus..he proven shes not...how long do u leave them together until u see them lock up??? there just snuggling :P

    oh i forgot to add hes in shed..should I take him out until he sheds, and them put them back together?

    A couple of mine breed while in shed. The snuggling is 'romancing' most of the time. Some of my males lock immediately, but some take time. How long are you leaving them for?

    they have been together for about 5 days..how long does it take?...this is my 1st time breeding so any advice anyboud can give me would be greatly appreciated

    the other thing is they are in a rack..and I cant see throught it, so I have to open it to see what there doing..I only check on the once a day as not to stress them..

    This is also my first year breeding Bp's but I believe it depends on how many females your planning to breed the male to. If your only breeding him to one or two girls then I would make sure he's in with them most of the time. Seperate them every once and awhile for feeding and rest but keep them together for the most part.:) Just my 2cent.
