    problem with glass aquarium!
    hi everyone

    so i jsut got a new tank cheap at my work. stupidly i put a hot light on the lid and the rubber glue started to melt( i caught it right away). i put my BP in a temp container at the time. what kind of lid can i make?

    use a screen lid, or you can just use belly heat.

    yup, if it is a normal sized tank (which if it is cheap, it should be), go to Petsmart and they have locking lids in the herp section (or atleast in my store it is in the herp section). That is what i use, and i have a lot of candles in my room, so i take big candles (the 4 wick ones), and put one on each corner (not right on the screen, then it would fall through :(). Those tops are metal, and should not melt, but if not, put a clip on the light, and hang it above, or just use belly heat (I prefer UTH to anything else).
