Scarlett's First Litter - Five Days Old
Wow, they've changed a lot since they were born Wednesday night!

    12 hours old:

Looks like there will be no hoodeds in this bunch, I can only keep my fingers crossed that Caesar had the blue gene in him as well, and maybe some will be blue - but not likely!

Thanks, there's 12 there. We plan to keep one, maybe two as future breeders.

Yeppers, they look all black :) That's what those russian blue's do to ya! You can always keep a male baby(since Caesar needs a buddy anyway) and breed him back to the mom. You'd get RB's that way... and more blacks, LoL.

LOL - right now Mrs. Snuggles seems to be Caesar's buddy. No pregnancy out of her, and she's not been separated from him. She's the same age and approximate weight as Scarlett, so who knows. She's awfully sweet, and I love her as a pet - so if she never produces, she can be his cage buddy when females have litters. And, I've checked, she IS a female! LOL

I did plan to hold back a male to breed to mom, was hoping there might be a hooded to try for blue hoodeds. Ah well, I can't wait to see them in the fuzzy stage!
