    Big mistake
So i bought some shavings at the petstore and didn't really pay much attention to what kind they were, i told the clerk what it was for and he gave me pine shavings  . so i never even looked at the bag and my snake has been in pine shavings for 5 days!!!!! as soon as i noticed i repalced with good shavings. the ball is ok and still responsive like it was before. no diffrence. is he going to get sick? :crying:

Keep an eye on him. The pine can be bad but its not as bad a ceder. The Oils in allot of evergreen shaving tend to irritate the skin and can poison your snake. Just watch him and keep an eye on his belly if it starts showing any reaction then get him to a vet. I would think that if anything adverse was going to happen then five days what have brought it about..
    Hope this helps -Ed

He should be fine. It's long-term contact with pine that can cause issues. A few days shouldn't have hurt him.
