play dough!

my daughter was playing with play dough tonight. she's very creative... makes crafts for about 6 hours a day every day. yes, we go through a lot of craft supplies here :D

so she comes out with her new friend... gus. his name is gus because he ate the turtle she made yesterday - who's name was gus. then she shows me gus' friend... his yummy little friend... so yummy in fact that gus plans on eating him for dinner!

after i took the pic she came out and showed me the hide she made for her snake... cause a nice tight hide is important for gus to feel safe, so she tells me ;)

i was so surprised when she came out with his hide and told me how it needs to be small so he will feel safe... i think my jaw dropped... amazing what they pick up on eh? sometimes i feel like i'm talking to myself and then *wham* they repeat the info and you realize they were actually listening LOL

That is adorable! One of my most prized possessions is a playdough picture made by my son when he was in Grade 1. He's 20 now.
