i dont see why not, i would say to make sure you have the temps set up right before you put him in there.

Actually, those waterfalls are not recommended. They're great breeders of bacteria as the biggest reason.

yeah. that makes sense. I don't know much about them. I think if you keep up with it you will be alright, but, i don't know anything about them, so, don't take my word for it. lol.

If I recall correctly, one of our members had it melt down on them.

I would definitely stay away from them. The vibration alone, from the motor, might be enough to stress out.

They'd likely use it for a toilet too LOL. Mine love to poop or drop a big old thick urate in any hard to clean place they can discover!

frankykeno your avatar is awsome man!!!! that is to wicked, LMAO :) as far as the waterfall goes, i put it in for about 12 hours as a trial run to see what he would do. he did nothing for about 4 hours then discovered it, he then explored all over the place as i changed his whole setup. he sat on the waterfall for like 2hrs then disappeared. so i figured i would take it out, when i did he was snuggled up beside it under his substrate. i dont really know what that means or anything or really how to interpret his actions. i havent spent much time with snakes. tell me what you guys think. the waterfall is out of the enclosure for now....................... :sabduel:

I also heard of one Bp climbing up inside of one, and had to be cut out, it had some cuts from being jammed up in there. Stay away from the ones you set into the cages and plug in. If you build your own, you can change the water and maintain it a little healthier. But i would stick with a bowl and misting.

Waterfalls are one of the most overrated decor items for the reptile world. I had one for awhile with my water dragon. They look cool and help improve humidity levels but are jsut not worth the daily aggrevation. Also if you have hard water that takes a toll on the pump real fast. As others have said I would not reccomend one for a snake as they like to cram themselves into any spot they "think" they might be able to fit in.
