Neat little critter lol.How are there temperments? I was looking at one a short time back but passed on it since i know nothing about them.Yea i am one of those that refuse to buy before i learn about the animal.:cool:

She eats like a pig, warm and soft. If she gets frightened her quills stand up and she jerks her body causing some discomfort from the jabbing, not bad though. Until she gets comfortable with us Kelly handles her with a glove. She seems very comfortable around us considering it's her first day. Very high on the cuteness scale!!:D

Ok now you have sparked my interest again.What do they eat and what type of enclosure do they need to be happy.Is their a site or something to read up on the proper needs and care?

I kept a hedgehog for a while, they are super cute but I ended up selling her as I am to involved with reptiles and other things that I didn't give her enough attention.
One thing I remember reading and being told over and over is that gloves are a no-no. I can't remember why exactly maybe something to do with associating the owners smell or something.
