errr is this pattern normal?
Hi,
Ok 2 of the 3 hatchlings have left the eggs and I have never seen a back pattern like this before :confused:

The parents are both normals though the female is quite light compared to my others. The second hatchling has one or 2 black spots in the back but nothing too unusual.

Sorry for the quality I just grabbed a couple of pics while putting them into tanks and didn't want to keep them out too long.

Hard to say with the pics, but Ive seen similar patterns before. I wouldn't say it is super common, but it is definitely normal IMO.

Cool,
Guess I'm just trying to talk myself into keeping one of them :D .
Looked at it ,went "00000", realised I was reading a snake and got all confused.

Selectively breed those spotted babies to bring out more circles and you could have your very own cheetah ball.:P
Good looking baby.

LOL wonder if they will be more active than my fat lumps :)
It seems to run in the family - here's the third hatchling;

I think it's pretty neat. If you like it, keep it. If it's a female there won't be any convincing involved! :P
