    Looking for 4" flexwatt
I'm looking for about 17 feet of 4" flexwatt for a new rack. I think I have enough 3" I could re-use but if I can find 4" for a decent price I might go that route.

ah hah! thanks Cue! The 4" at beanfarm is much lower than what I was seeing on other sites ($3.50/ft on others!). I might go with this and keep my other rack setup as is for future needs.

I'm seeing something interesting in the description on the site though maybe someone can verify. It says the 4" is 8 watts/ft and that the 3" is 10 watts/ft If this is the case even better if it provides some energy savings. It seems backwards but I'm not an electrician.

I think there is also a 3" that is 6 watts, so that sounds about right. ;) Some places don't carry the the 3" 6 watt stuff though.

There is definitely 3" 6 watt. I have actually heard of some people being sold it as 8 watt. Hmm... Bean Farm carries it but most don't. I use 3" in all applications now with a stable snake room temp.

I'm debating myself big time on this. I have stable room temps also and won't need the current rack once the new higher capacity one is in. I'm thinking I might just stick with the 3" I have rather than wait out the holiday season. I can order more but at least I'll have enough for now to get the new system going.
