Scale dimples?

    Scale dimples?
    Today I noticed some odd dimpling on my Pueblan milksnake. In the middle of individual scales there is a small concave or dimple. It almost looks like a tiny, tiny indent or something.

    Is this due to dehydration? Shedding? Husbandry?

    Please help!

    posting some pics would be helpful.i think i know what you're talking about and i think one if not both of my snakes have the "dimples" on their scales.

    i used to see this a lot on my Burmese python... I assumed it was just from her laying in one position for an extended period of time...

    i'll see if i can take pics of my ball python's "dimples" later today and see if they macth the ones you see.but i dont think it's anything to be worried about.
