What's wrong with this pic?
Just brought this guy home and noticed the problem over the weekend. I'm wondering how many people would overlook this (or have no idea what this is)?? I'm posting it as a test your knowledge for all the fledgeling BP owners. Ironically, I've never had this happen with anyone in my collection and I go and buy one that has it.
C'mon. Step up to the plate. All you veterans lay off and let the younger guys (educationally speaking) have a go.

Re: What's wrong with this pic?
Maybe you're looking at the extra skin on his eye? I hear that it's pretty normal and nothing dangerous. I guess it goes away with the next shed. I had one boy that this happened to and has since resolved.
Maybe someone knows what causes it?

That's what I was gonna say.
Re: What's wrong with this pic?
I'm by no means a vet but it looks like the tissue surrounding the eye has...for what ever reason buldged out alittle bit. Might be due to infection, or trama, But it doesn't look like a retained eye cap they are mostly clear and make the eye look like its got a little plastic wrap over it.
Re: What's wrong with this pic?
Hmm... if I had to make a guess I would mention the drop of something hanging from his chin (drool). Drool being a early sign of an Respitory Infection(RI).
EDIT: Nevermind  I see more drops of water on his body.
Re: What's wrong with this pic?
Okay this is just great! Not only has Zeke not eaten for 3 weeks, he has the same thing on one of his eyes. Thought it was from a shed and would come off! What the hell is it and what do I do?
Re: What's wrong with this pic?
Sounds like two vet visits are in order.
Re: What's wrong with this pic?
I'm thinking it's the skin around the eye. Never have seen this condition. What' the dilly?
Re: What's wrong with this pic?
I don't know the answer to this question, but I had it on one of my snakes only on the back half of the eye, sent a picture to Adam, waited until after the next shed cycle and all was well after that.
