    Panacur
Can anyone tell me the weight to dosage ratio for treating with Panacur? In grams and lbs would be best! Thanks!

Recommended dose is 50-100 mg/kg or 23-45 mg/lb orally, with a repeat dose after 2 weeks. What are you treating?

Good luck! You could even dose it a third time two weeks after the second dose just make sure you got 'em all.

I dosed it about 5 months ago, and I thought they were gone, but I found another one, could have been a dead one, but in that big of a gap, think I might as well go ahead and dose him again. Thanks a lot Evan!

All types of intestinal nematodes (worms). It's been proven to be very effective in reptiles with very little toxicity, even at doses many times the recommended amount. This being said, keepers who do not have experience in diagnosing and treating parasites should rely on qualified reptile vets for treatment of all serious ailments.

What do the worms look like? Can you see them easily in the fecal matter, or are they something you'd need a microscope for?

good call. I personally would never put some meds in my snakes. I don't trust myself that much unless I absolutely have to.

You can sometimes see worms in the fecal, hook and tapeworms both can be pretty noticable sizes if you are looking. They are a lot easier to spot if they urinate or deficate in water. I've actually gotten to treat my own snakes for awhile now, I just always had someone fill the syringe for me. Thanks agian evan!
