    The 06 Group
Just thought I'd share some pics we took yesterday of our four 06 BP's. Babies are fun!

Helori (Mikey's snake)...female BP...captive bred by our own Cueball (Chris) and gifted to our small son...hatched June 06

    Muirne...female BP...assumed captive born/captive hatched...purchased from Petland....estimated hatched May 06

Cara...female BP...a gift from our very own Rabernet (Robin)....originally from Exotics by Nature....hatched June 06

Riordan....male YB BP...from Andrew (BPNet member)...originally bred by Ed Clark (nice job Ed!)....hatched August 06

The whole crew together for a rare photo op! (Cara upper right, Riordan in the middle of his ladies, Helori bottom right, Muirne bottom left)

Everyone is doing wonderfully well! Riordan and Helori are on rat fuzzies, Muirne and Cara are the mouse eaters (pretty good evidence that rats or mice, as long as they eat the right volume and consistently they grow about the same :) ) They are all very easy to handle, not at all nervy with some gentle reasonable amount of human touch and they all show very aggressive feeders responses to their live prey.

I love the "nursery group". :sunny:

Big thanks to Robin for the picture taking advice (whatcha think? are they coming out better now for detail????)

Such beautiful animals! Muirne looks like a real steal to have been found in a petstore!

Super sweet babies there :) My personal favorite is Muirne.. but they are all super awesome.
I wonder if Helori is a sibling to my Luna (the '06 that was gifted to be by Cue..?) Cue!

Very nice! Nice to see Ms. Cara in there too! I think that the macro button is improving the clarity of your pictures for sure! I like the lavendar background too!

Awww I didn't know Helori and Luna are siblings...how wonderful! You aught to love that lavendar background Robin LOL! ;)

Thanks everyone! We are just so pleased with how all the babies are settling in so well. Muirne is a wonderful snake considering her pet store background but the more I think about it the more I wonder since she was a Petland purchase, maybe she was indeed captive born as they stated. She sure eats and acts like a snake well used to humans. All the babies do well really, very sweet natured and happy as heck to get their rats or mice. I can't even pick a favorite among these ones....they are all just my little snakey love bugs right now LOL.

Boy it's hard to have the four cuties around and not overhandle them but we are going slow and making sure each one of them is a solid, consistent feeder and growing appropriately before we bug them much.

I know; that young age makes them more handleable, in my opinion. :) It is odd; sometimes it seems better to get them at this tender age, before anyone's had the chance to screw up their husbandry.. they are all such cuties, Jo!
