    Metzcal management software?
Anybody else using this? I know at least one person, because I snagged it from their signature link, LOL (don't remember who, but thanks!).

Downloaded it yesterday and have been playing around and so far I'm thrilled.
Prior to this I've been tracking everything in a paper notebook, and ithat's okay but I wanted a better way to bring everything together. The software has all the functions I've been wanting, and more...and it's soooo flexible. I spent all morning setting up my cages in it, and entering all the data on my kids. It tracks growth rates, nutritional content of prey, breedings, does Punnet squares on hypothetical crosses, pedigrees, caging setups, stats on fertility of breedings, lets me load photo ID of all my kids...My boyfriend is tired of hearing me go "Oooo! I can do....".

If you've used it long-term, what are your thoughts? Positives? Negatives?

I've been using it for a week or two. The only problem I've discovered so far, is that when I enter in a full washing cage event that happened in the past, it doesn't seem to stick. Even if i have the settings so that it displays all cage events. I was going to play with it for a while longer, and then email tech support and see if i've just found a bug or something.

I started a new database though, I didn't enter in everything over the example stuff.

Otherwise, it takes a while to enter info going back to 2004 :P

I love it though. I really like the style of tracking it has for parents of clutches.
