    my ball has RI
so my ball rocky has RI and i got it over to the vet and got it treated, and hopefully everything will turn out ok. the vet said that i cought it early and everything should be fine. also i found out that the vet down the street helps out at the toledo zoo with the reptiles so that is a plus!

Did they run a culture to see what bacteria it has? Some antibiotics only kill certain germs. With the culture they grow the bacteria in the lab and then test which antibiotic kills it. I had a snake once with a RI and they started him on an antibiotic thats kills most infections but we still ran a culture to be sure. When the results can back days later we found that this particular bacteria needed to be treated with a different antibiotic that could only be injected, which I had to do daily, but she recovered fine.

no they did not run a culture as far as i know i also have to inject daily and every three days, but i need to go back tommarow so i can make a request. on another not rocky seems to be doing much better since the first treatment. on a funny note the girl who was assiting the vet got pooped on by her first snake.
