    Sound Ok?
41 qt tub with aspen bedding
Hot side-between 90 when bottom is not covered with aspen to 96 when fully covered by aspen
Cool side is still warming up. I'll update that in the morning.
    Does it sound ok?

Your checking the temp. with a heat gun yes? When I check the temps. I go by what the bottom of the tub..bare with no bedding...reads. I dont know about 96 degress, I dont let ours get that warm...it's usually between 89-92 for us.

I would just make sure your tub surface on the hot side doesn't get hotter than 94ish....OTT, sounds good.

Its just when the bedding in on top of the heat mat, it insulates it and starts getting hot

when you get the thermostat plug the heat mat into it then put the thermostats temp sensor under the bedding and set it for like 92-95ish. It will turn the pad off if it gets too hot, or on if it gets too cold.
