    question re: orange ghost hets
Let's say you bred an orange ghost male, to a pastel female.. would the offspring be 100% het for o. ghost, or just 50%?
The new male I got was from an orange ghost male breeding a pastel female. I am pretty confused now as to what % he is; I was not there when Mark got him yesterday.

Re: question re: orange ghost hets
the normal looking offspring would be 100% het for orange ghost. the pastel offspring would be pastel (100%) het orange ghost. ghost/hypo is a recessive gene, so the male has 2 hypo genes, so regardless of which gene he contributed to the offspring it would be a hypo gene.

Re: question re: orange ghost hets
orange ghost x pastel = normals 100% het orange ghost and pastel 100% het orange ghost

100% het orange ghost x pastel = normals 50% het orange ghost and pastels 50% het orange ghost
