well the real problem is the room this species requires when adult size.........

which is pretty much my living room :( although i did know that when i bought him :) i guess i'll see if an1 wants to buy him, if not then i guess im sacrficing the living room :colbert: my wife would kill me!
:sabduel: <---- i'd be vader though

Ah I see - I thought you were somebody who had bought one without realizing how big they get ;)

Well - I was in a kinda similar situation to you - just I'm the wife and my hubby has had to sacrifice the dining room. Bless him, he's even currently building the 8x4x4 viv (albeit slowly!!) So all we'll have in that room now is a dining table and chairs scrunched up against one wall and the viv against the other - dinner guests draw straws as to who sits with the hot viv at their back :D I've tried to persuade him to totally give over the dining room to a herp room as I'd love an Arg B&W tegu (what's one more 8x4x4??) but I don't think I'll win that one.

What's the personality of the mangrove like? Does your wife like him? He's certainly cute :) Perhaps you could promise her something she's always wanted in exchange for letting you keep the mangrove ...

he is pretty evil let me tell ya. well sometimes. he has mood swings and sometime goes crazy and tries to kill everthing!!!! but............. he is an awsome pet with a wicked personality, he really only freaks out like once every 6 months . i have yet to determine why, white plastic bags really really make him mad. i dont know why but he HATES them with a passion. he doesn't like to be handled much. but he will stand and not try to get away,, usually. but boy howdy is he fast!!!!
