UTH through wood?

Hey I just built a temp cage for one of my BP's and was wondering does heat tape work though wood? The base is 1/4 pressboard. Any info would help greatly.

Nope.

Look into radiant heat panels ... www.pro-products.com ... If I had to use a wooden cage, that's how I would heat it.
