    Timeing of shed?
I was wondering if the shed cycle is any different for boa's then BP's? Hyde is exactly the same every time, he starts feeling a bit crunchy, belly gets pink, eyes turn blue then clear, and after they get clear again he sheds within 48 hours (an usually leaves me a nice pile of nasty poo... it's so much more endearing when you first get them *sigh*).

The guy I got the boa from said he was blue a few day's before I got him which would have been like the 4th, and he was clear eye'd when I got him on the 7th... just getting impatient ;)

That sounds about right. My big girl takes about 3 days once her eyes clear up to shed. It just all depends on the snake

    Update - Timeing of shed?
Well, not surprisingly, the guy I adoped him from didn't know what he was talking about. He couldn't possibably have been blue a couple days before I got him because he just started turning blue yesterday.

Oh well, I can wait. Few more days and I'll have some freshly shed pics up.

I also have to wonder now when the last time this beasty was fed... I gave him a large rat today (Sunday's feeding day for Hyde so I wanted to get him on the same schedule) and he slammed that thing before it even hit the ground. Least I don't have to worry about this guys feeding response, lol. Holy crap.

I still need to give him a name!
