    I know I know, this has been asked tons of times, BUT is there a speical sulotion i should use to clean my snakes tank or just plain old water??

    Personally I use hot water and a bit of soap, then a good wipe down with vinegar and water (gets rid of water spots), rinse till there's no smell, buff with a handful of plain old newspaper and you should have a lovely clean and shiney glass tank (also works really well to spiff up Mr. Glass too!):sunny:

    thank you, i'm planning on cleaning tommorrow when i take her out to feed. and wasn't sure about the soap...

    As long as it's a mild soap, and you rinse well you should be fine. I use chlorhexadine to clean my cages, and I know some people use a bleach/water solution. The bleach and water makes me a bit nervous so I would go with one of the two aforementioned ideas. Have fun cleaning! :D

    Oh and I just can't imagine buffing Jamie with newspaper. :no: He'd never sit still long enough to get a really good shine. ;)

    The one about the 6 foot gator. No sorry wish I did. Other than perhaps contacting someone from the Toledo Herp Society. They may be able to give you some advice but that's going to be a very difficult creature to place I would think. I believe this is their current contact number (419) 475-0521 (at least the most current one I could find on the web this morning).
