I am still pleasantly shocked..
..when I look at our new rack and see how much less room it takes up, than the tanks we used! Seriously, in the footprint of one of our tanks, we now house all 6 of our BPs. I have so much more space in the house, we were able to get a new fish tank setup and are planning on another tank for fish that we're getting as a freebie...
Now, anyone know how to keep fish in a nice, neat rack that would still allow for display properties? ;)
Re: I am still pleasantly shocked..
The small amount of space you use with racks is really incredible compared to how much you need with tanks.
Now you will have a lot of room so you can go out and get more snakes.:D

So are you saving money (electrical wise) switching, i feel like you would but i am not sure????

Hm.. I am not sure, but I think so. I am still using the Zoomed UTHs hooked to rheostats. I had to adjust them before putting in the snakes, and I found that turning them down a good 2/3 of what they were on the tanks, made the right temp in the racks. Maybe b/c of the non-gap between the rack surface and the tub.. w/ the tanks, I had a three-inch gap between tank floor and table.
I LOVE the space saving, and the neater-looking aspect of it too; no more odd-sized tanks everywhere.

I know what you mean, I miss really going all out with there decorations like we did in the tanks, but that was obviously more for us than them.
We do have the T3 sitting on top of our rack....and I finally painted the rack black so it looks nice and neat now.
I to hated the fact that we had a million diffrent sized tanks set every where there was an empty space....now I dont have to go from room to room to clean and feed...I'd like to hug the guy that came up with the rack idea.
