    Pastel breeding question..
What do you get if you keep breeding Pastels? Meaning, I know that Supers are a result of breeding two pastels.. so how would the genetics go if you just kept breeding your pastels up and up? Supers to supers, then their offspring to other supers, etc... I am just curious. Of course, I would assume that there would be different bloodlines to prevent endless inbreeding; but how would the offspring appear; do they get more super looking, or just stop at a certain point?

You'd just get more supers. There are two alleles at each gene.. they can either have one copy (pastel) or two copies (super pastel) they can't have any more than two copies of pastel.. so it stops at super. Of course you can selectively breed for lighter supers, or reduced supers.. but they're still supers genetically.

I can say that I have seen quite a few Pastels that were offspring from a Super to normal, and they appear to be a notch above a typical Pastel However, the Super, is one of the better ones out there. I don't know if that was along the lines of what you were asking, but if I had to buy a Pastel all over again, I would buy one from a Super breeding.
