    why the cool side
I'vr had my ball for about a month now, he's in a 20 gall glass tank, temps are 90 on the warm side and 73.5 on the cool. his hides are the exact same as well cast from the same mold.

any particular reason he would always stay on the cool side. he rarely goes over to the warm side, is 90 to high on the warm side?

as well he's had 3 feedings and has not deficated yet. i would assume they should after every feed eventually.

    anyways thanks in advance

90 should be fine, but 73 is too cool on the cool side. Should be 80ish, the care sheet on this site says anything below 75 is bad for the snake. Also, they tend to be nocturnal, so it may be spending some time in the warm side at night when you arent looking. As far as it not deifcating, i dont think its that uncommon for them to hold a few feeding before going. I actually just read a thread where someone said they had an 800 gram one loose 100 grams in one "release".
