    Heating questions
    Hey All,

I have a couple of heating questions. First question, I have a Burm(George) who resides in a custom made wood cage. I was considering under cage heating(right now I use heat lamps and it is in a warm bedroom)but will that work with a wood bottom? I'm moving it to the my new Basement snake room (YIPPIE!!!) but it's a little chillier but not too bad. I have been seeing a boat load of heating options some affordable some HOLY CRAP expensive. Second question is the same but for the "new to me" Vision cages I will be recieving soon. I just was going to use heat tape but is this the best option?

    Thanks for your help,
    Rick:rockon:

Heat tape is great...you'll need a good thermostat to regulate the temps...I don't know how much you're willing to spend, but i have a Herpstat ND...

Spyder Robotics makes the Herpstat line of tstats and they are worth the money IMO. It just depends on if you're willing to put out that much $$$ (they are a tad pricey)

There are plenty of other tstats out there, none of which i have experience with..just herpstat.
