    What do sibling calico amazons produce?
    A whole lot of variation and color! Here are pics of a litter that was born at my facility on august 24th. The sire and dam are siblings that both started out as very nice looking red and orange amazons. As time went by they both turned into the beautiful calico animals pictured below.

    Here are the the colored phase babies from the pairing. A few of them are in shed now including the two extreme black flecked ones but I will put up some new pics after they shed to show some change if any.

    Awesome colors, I keep telling people how there are MANY awesome variations to ATB's Those reds are gorgeous! If you have any extra red hots send one my way ;)

    I must say...they are absolutely gorgeous.

    I do have one question though. How can you be certain (are you?) that inbreeding has not already been performed with the 'ancestors' of your siblings? In other words, Do you know if this is the first time this line has been inbred? It is my understanding that inbreeding is 'ok' for a couple of generations at most.

    The parents of mine were unrelated so this is the first generation the siblings have been bred together. :snake:
