Bad shed?? Patch of Sloughing Skin....
My male 5 month old bp, which I've only had for a week and a half, has a patch of sloughing skin.....I only noticed it today.....his eyes haven't been blue since I got him.....could they have been blue before he was shipped and it's taken this long for him to start to shed?? I've upped the humidity in my tank to 90%....it's really hard to keep the humidity high....I've had trouble keeping the humidity up since I got him.......is that what I should be doing? Should I be concerned about the patch of skin? Do you think he's entering into a shed or is the skin sloughing for some other reason???

From my experience its not uncommon for snakes to go a good while after clearing up from being blue before actually shedding. I dont remember for sure, but i think one of ours went about a week before starting after it was already clear again.
