    Stuck Tail Shed
    Last nite Maleagant shed his skin and im very excited but there is a tiny piece of his tail still left is there any advice as to how i should go about taking it off

    Warm soak.........then just use your fingers to work it off.......:)

    thanks i wasnt exactly sure on how to go about it but ints going to be interesting because hes definetly a wiggler

    Its going to be fun, plus your snake will get used to more handling and you will get some hands on experience taking stuck sheds off. :D

    If it's only the end bit you probably don't need to soak him (a lot of the tail, then do soak). If only a very bit at the tip a warm wet facecloth around that area for a few moments and then let him draw his tail through the cloth in your hands, apply slight pressure and off it will pop. Good eyes for catching it! It's important that stuck shed never be encircling especially in the tail tip area as it can permanently damage their tail.
