    Mice...
okay, so i was considering starting to breed. I just wanted some input on it. I have no idea how to breed mice, or how to take care of them. I only have 2 snakes, and food is really cheap, i wanted to know if it was even worth breeding. I have a BP on Hoppers (the size above fuzzies...everybody has a different name for them. lol), and i have a baby RTB on pinkeys, but that will change quite soon, i've heard that RTBs grow rapidly.
Food here is really cheap. For pinkeys, i get 6 for 6$, for hoppers it is about 6 for 8$ (or somewhere around there). Even when my RTB gets to an adult...jumbo rats are 3.26 (or 2.26....i dont remember).
I am not planning on getting another snake any time soon, and wanted to know if i should breed, or keep buying the food (we have a herpish store near us, so i dont have to go far to get food, or order them off line).
    Thanks for your input!

if you go down a few rows in the list of forums theres a feeder forum. This will probably be moved there, and you should also be able to find some good info in there.

I wouldn't get into breeding rodents for just a couple snakes. The cost and time will far outweigh the benefit. Keep buying them until the addiction takes over your life. Once you hit 10 snakes, start up the breeding :)

haha. my bf limited me at 2...we are not living together yet, but i dont want to have to sell any when we do...butttt....eventually i will have a horse barn, and i can keep them there, so, maybe ill get more. it is an addiction though. i already want another, and i just got my second on sunday! haha. I would say they are like potatoe chips, you can't just have one...but i dont like potatoe chips.

oh, and thanks for telling me about the feeder section. I was at school when i initially posted this, and really didnt have time to look to find it. lol.

    thanks guys!
