Dehydrated?

well my camera is actually workign half way decent today...i'm wordering if my snake looks dehydrated, i was reading that when the snakes body is bent and if there are wrinkles that could be a sign of dehydration...le tm eknow what ya think...there are 5 pics here of different angles and places.

It looks fine, the wrinkles you read about were likely referring to the lateral folds running the length of the body (like loose skin) on severely dehydrated snakes, not folds at the "bends" in snakes .

ok thanks...i'm a nervous wreck after reading all the problems people have posted on this forum over time....

man i ddin't realy look at the pics but you can really see the green and purple coming out like i stated in my pic thread...

you can see the purple on the last pics real good on the top of on of the markings and the green in the 4th pic...is this a normal coloration?

About the colouring- I think you're talking about iridescence. Yes, that's normal especially after a shed while they're still shiny. In some snakes, it's even more pronounced, like in rainbow boas.

I agree with Evan your snake looks fine.A dehydrated snakes skin is so loose that it looks like someone with pants on 5 sizes to big.

well im glad it wasnt anything bad because my female has been lookin the same way for the last week or so but they where trying to breed an shes going in to shed now for about the last 4 days her eyes just cleared up yester day an she didnt eat this week

Are you TRYING to breed them, or are they housed together? And how big is she?

well first off im not tryin to steel any ones post or anything but when i first got them they where in the same tank an i didnt find out that it was a bad thing untill i got on here i was planing on spliting my 60 gal tank with some plexi glass or somethin but the snakes where tryin to breed so i just let them go there bolth normal balls about 4 foot long but i dont know the weight of eather of them there bolth good sized
