    Check this out! must see!!
Well everyone has seen on TV and the internet about giant pythons showing up in south Florida. I live here and about 10min from the everglades. I have never seen one in the wild until this one showed up last Friday night in a neighbors yard about 2 blocks away from me. My friend was next door when the lady showed up and asked for help that there was a big snake in her drive way. She said she call animal control and they told her there was nothing they could or would do since it was not in her house. He cought it and walked it over to me knowing I keep snakes. So I open the door to him holding this thing laughing his head off. She 's a lot bigger than these pic's make her look. Plus this girl is as mean as they come! I have the everglades out post going to take her!

That is a rescue for all kinds of exotic pets, they have burms, retics, cobras, vipers, adders, tigers, bears. They take just about anything you don't want I think.

Sounds like a great place. I'd love to work in a place like that someday.

Yeah I have seen many monitors and my neighbor hood is over run with Tokay Geckos. But I have never seen a big snake show up before. We live in West Homestead which is a farming community so most neighbor hoods are bordered by crops or woods.

My friend has a reptile farm in central Florida and always drives to Miami for international shipments. He has told me that lots of non-native reptiles live in the glades. I think there are three main reasons, it is a good habitat for alot of animals, the glades are very close to a huge international import location, and three people let pets go in the wild, what better place than in the glades. Problem is, they tend to prey on native species.
