    Enclosure help!!
okay, so i just got my RTB today. I also just got a heat pad for the cage. It is a sterilite tub, and i wanted to make sure before i mounted it on there that the tub will not melt. advice?
    thanks everyone!

i dont have a dimmer, but the pad that i have doesnt get too hot. I have it on my other tank, and it doesnt seam like it would melt it, but i dont want to risk it.
Should i mount it on to the plastic, or just put in underneath it?

    Thanks!

You'll want to be really sure about those temps. Get a digital thermometer (Accurite from Walmart is a good brand). What mght just feel warm to you could be way too hot for the snake. Never guess when it comes to safety :) . Good luck!

though it might not seem like it, it more than likely will melt it or if not, will definetly get too hot for your snake
