I've posted something similar to this in the corn snake forum. Anyone else see a few problems?

Just goes to show how ignorant some people really are  .Luckily neither snake was hurt.I dread to think what would happen if the snakes grabbed the rodent wrong:( .

That makes me really angry. 1st of all...talk about killing a rat inhumanely...2nd of all...what if that snake had gone to bite the rat when his head was on the other side, and gotten the glass and hurt himself?!
    people make me angry.
yeah, snakes are awesome, and i loveeee watching mine eat, but that is so stupid.

    1) How was that inhumane?
    2) I've known snakes to do this at me, and I havn't had one get hurt... not good to tease it, but that isn't the part I would worry about.

i don't understand how these snakes were being used as play toys. i don't agree with the substrate choices, don't agree with size of the prey this guy uses for his snakes... and would never put a rat on the top of a tank to feed a snake but...

how is that a play toy?

I think he/she meant that the owner purposely chose the size of the rodents for the owner's personal amusement.

If I'm wrong, go ahead and say so.

sheds and poop are one thing, but hides? i take everything out when i feed. it gets the snake out and lets him know it's time to eat
