    New Burm addition.
This is Zeus, he was a surrendered to the Pacific Northwest Herpetlogoical Society and halfway housed for the last few months and then adopted to me. He has been cured of mites, is very stunted in growth and skinny. The info I have is that he is 6yrs old and only 7ft, he has an old (healed) burn on his belly, no RI or other problems noted. He is an awesome and beautiful animal with a great attitude. I am going to slowly put some weight on him so that he fills out but I don't expect he will grow more than another foot or so. Iv'e wanted a Burm for a while and when I saw him I had to have him, so rather than buy from a breeder I saved this guys life and can give him a better chance than his previous owners. I will update with pic's as he improves.

Nope he's not star gazing he is very alert to anyone that comes into the room. He instantly follows you and pays attention to what's going on and just before the pic I had touched the top of the enclosure and he was still looking. Fat and happy is on the way!

Stargazing is a Neurological problem in which the snake will stare upward for extended periods of time and can be part of bigger problems like IBD (inclusion Body Disease) which is a snake killer.
