Loves baths, hates towels. our sweet boy is so spoiled!!We got this boy a while back simply because we didn't like how he was being cared for. This guy has so much personality. While other torts casually walk about the yard, he runs laps full tilt till time to go in. Loves to watch every move you make with interest. FAV. food is bananas given very sparingly. One of the health issues he has is extreme pyramiding from poor nutrition. Besides the fact that we paid way to much, he is our lil' sweetheart. Just wanted to share a favorite pet. Thanks for looking.:)

Tortises rule. I'd get one if I had a huge backyard without a labrador running around it :D

When we get moved we are going to build a dog proof tortie corral. Escape proof with lots of leg room and hides. With cooler weather he must run inside for now.

When I first moved in with my grandma and grandpa they had two tortises. Had to give em up cause we got dog. They were coolas hell though. I still miss em even though last time I saw em was when I was 5. Wow, 22 years ago

If she goes for a larger tort, make sure she has space for large indoor enclosure. They make wonderful pets!! :) :)
