I dilly around with Guild Wars right now....and played Dark Age of Camelot for a few years until I felt I'd done all I could do with that one. But never had any interest in trying WOW.

WoW is about the only interesting MMORPG out right now. I just started up playing it again from taking a break. And yes, I have a toon named "Vomitore" :D

My wife and I play, well she plays more than I do usually since I involve myself in projects. She played DAOC for like 5yrs...I got her into and it was cool at first...WoW has much better dynamics but isn't perfect. The detail is just awesome in game on my laptop with the nvidia 7900GTX

Yeah I'd like to upgrade my comp a lil bit. But it's always been a good computer. Making your own PC IMO is still better then buying pre-made. I only play WoW only cause I first started MMO's with Star Wars Galaxies. Unfortunately if you played SWG pre-cu then you know the state that game is in now. :( WoW is fun, but the leveling is what kills me.

I do alot of PC builds for home users and the ones we use at home. (I fix PC's and network issues for a living) Well accept for this gaming laptop that I won this summer...WOOT! Still hard to believe I won a laptop of this caliber that retails for upwards of $3k Anyways ya I've done my time in differen't mmo betas and what not. There's actually a couple I'm waiting to see if I get into, one was LOTR related and can't remember the other... Don't worry about leveling in WoW, I've played since day one (beta also) and my first character is STILL not lvl 60. I should word that differently...I haven't literally played since day one but I started the subscription that day. Now that my wife is into it we each have a character we only play together, so now I have wopping TWO characters! while she already has 3-4.

P.S. I hate the word toon in reference to WoW as much as its used LOL!

What's scary is I started a TOON (heh) on a 2 week old server, and there's people already a few levels short of lev 60. How do they do it? I have NO clue. The new Phantasy Star looks somewhat decent. I gotta see it in person before I go out and just buy it. It comes out in 4 days actually. My main problem with WoW is there's not many classes you can be. That's what I loved about SWG. Well, pre-cu SWG. Now it's only 9 professions. :(

i've never played WOW , but i have been seriously thinking about trying it . i used to be real big into d&d back in the late 70's and still like that type of game . i play runescape and actually enjoy that even though the graphics arent that good and i'm sure its pretty basic compared to other games out there .

Wow has a new expansion coming out in Nov and with South Park basing an episode around it, WoW is gonna get some serious boost in accounts.
