    Polyurethane on Driftwood
    I bought a piece of driftwood and a piece of grapevine and wanted too put them in my ball pythons tank. does anyone know if its safe to coat it iwth polyurethane a couple of times?

    Why's that?

    It's safe as is, why would you want to seal it? If you're worried about bugs you can bake it in the oven.

    To keep it from molding.

    It should be okay as long as you coat it a couple of times and let it air out really well.

    Many people use polyurethane to coat the walls of wooden cages to seal them.
