Ive got my tank setup up but am having a little trouble. My cool temp is 80.5 and my warm is 89.5 (is this too low?) MY humidity is 68%(liveable?) does this look ok?:sabduel: <<its a battle between humidity and temp lol

Your humidity probably isn't at 68. Since that's a dial, not digital, it's very inaccurate. The one I have is ~15-20 % off. The Exo Terra one has been known to be 30% off (according to mousch, a member here). You got digital thermometers, why not a digital hygrometer? I've never used it, but there's a $6 unit at Wal-Mart, made by Springfield, that measures ambient temperature and humidity. Maybe get that?

Yeah we use Accu Rite from wal-mart...$12 bucks...reads humidity and temp.
Also have you taped and foiled the screen top?

I personally would have it at 91-92, but that's just me. I'd think that it would be fine.

Although, the probe isn't really in a good spot. I see that it's about an inch or two above the substrate. It should probably be on the surface of the glass above the UTH to have better control. If it's 90 two inches above the glass, it's probably more than that on the substrate.

Are you measuring the temperatures inside the warm side hide? If not, they may be at the 92-94 temps that are needed. Put one of the probes under the hide and see.
