Letting a great pet go - ball python 4 sale
Hi everyone, I know I'm new to this forum, so I'm automatically gonna be looked at a little suspiciously since I'm selling, but I've never been on forums for my snake before, and I thought this would be a good way to get rid of my pet, but to someone who wouldn't kill him. OR her, I don't know.

You can see my ad here https://post.craigslist.org/manage/222788565/q7zqu
    or just read on.

I have a ball python, approximately 3-4 yrs old for sale. I don't know the sex as I never got it sexed. I'm not a breeder, just an owner who cares very deeply about her pet, but I'm flat broke right now and I need the money, and considering I have been neglecting the little one, it might be better off with someone else.

Snake comes with a no-leaks 80 gallon tank, (might be bigger, but I seem to remember it being 80gal, it's about 4 feet long x 1.5 feet tall x 1 foot deep) 4 bricks of expands-with-water dirt, 2 flowerpots, a 12" x 2" round tupperware water dish, a 1/2 log shelter, a wooden climbing stick thing (not sure what to call it), 2 extra red 75-watt lightbulbs, 1 pretty large long heat shield for the top, 2 heating pads for the tank's underside, and a home-made mesh cover (the snake figured out how to escape one night, so I fixed that problem ASAP! It's NOT able to go anywhere now unless I decide so ;).

It responded extremely well to handling, but it's been at least 6 months since I handled it on a regular basis. It will need to be re-acclimated to humans. I doubt it would take longer than a week or 2 of regular contact. I feed it 2 Petco mice every other week or so, and I used to let it roam around the living room sometimes. The snake is healthy, no mouth problems, no mites, no skin issues, sheds approximately 1/month. Feces look healthy, sheds are healthy.

I apologize I couldn't post a picture, I don't have a digital camera. The snake's about 3' long and about the circumference of a ping pong ball at it's fattest point, maybe a little smaller. Beautiful markings. It's got a unique little "miniGene" (we named the snake Eugene) snake-look-alike mark on it's neck that I've always loved. Makes Gene special I think.

Anyway, please call 301-275-3417 or email lisalehman69@hotmail.com. I am looking to pass it and all the equipment on to a caring owner or breeder ASAP. I'm asking $300 for the snake and all the equipment or best offer, and I will deliver anywhere within 250 miles from MD though. I would have to see about shipping, I don't know how to go about that, so driveable distances are preferred.

Hi Stangs - she said the following on the feeding schedule:

"I feed it 2 Petco mice every other week or so," :D

Seems pretty small 3 feet and ping pong ball width? for a 3-4 year old?

    Thanks:)

My bad!! Thanks! I missed that. Yes it is a very small diet. By now she should be on small rats + ! she is to skinney right know so next time try and feed her a rat pinkie. My hatchling female is about the size of a ping pong ball. And you could try and move her feeding scedual to once a week. I hope she sells fast!!
