    Odd fake shed?
So the other day I pull out my ball python "Pontius" and he appears to be ready for his next shed: milky eyes, scales are tinted white, etc. He had all of the signs of a shed. So I started to raise his humidity for the shed and he curled up in one of his hides without sticking his head out like he normally does. So a couple of days had passed and this morning I went in to see if he was done or was still in the process but to my disbelief there was no shed or signs of any shed. His eyes were no longer milky and his scales were back to normal, its like he faked me out. I was thinking that maybe the shed was hidden somewhere but I cant find anything in his tank. What the hell is going on? Has anyone ever experienced this? Is this something that does happen occasionally? Help me out someone.

Thanks for the info, I appreciate it. Also, is it ok to feed during shed?
In the past I have done this and Pontius has no problem taking a rat pup down,
    but can this be bad?

If your snake wants to eat while in shed...go for it. :)

Yea this is fine if he'll take it. If not I wouldn't stress him. he'll be hungry after he sheds
